Pros

The company offers decent pay and benefits. Also, there are some really hard working people here, mostly the younger staff and project managers.

Cons

Super high turnover here for a so called "professional" firm. Management only announces new hires, but never discusses the hoards of people that quit or are laid off. The owners only care about the one big project they have which is on the other side of the country and is not even that interesting of a project, but it makes them a lot of money. Other than this big project, the company has small projects that come and go, making it hard to stay billable all the time. Upper management does not seem to care. They put so much effort in marketing for work in other states far away instead of focusing on their home office where most of the mouths are to feed. I am suprised this company is still even in business.

Pros

A nice group of engineers and scientists. The company president is friendly. Work-life balance is pretty good, with some offices having the option of leaving at 3pm on Fridays.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company is not really run by the president or the SVP. All of the decisions are made by two VPs who only respect and value the few individuals that they personally brought into the company. What you are told when you are hired is very different from the actual operations. Many of the company processes are old and outdated. Everything you do is micromanaged and many of the most talented young engineers are leaving for bigger companies within two to three years of joining the company.

Pros

Everyone here is super helpful, and caring.

Cons

There is no real training here, which for some people is ok. Often when you just start, no one really tells you what you need to do. Its just hard to be proactive if you dont know even where to go to ask.
