I worked at Mazars as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It helped me gain a good basic understanding of how to perform an audit. Good insight to the organisation and the opportunities they offer.

    Cons

Routine task. Company culture was quite old-fashioned and not innovative enough to compete with other firms. Limited opportunities outside of audit.

    Advice to Management

Help interns to broaden their knowledge by allowing them to try different tasks around the organisation, not just perform the same audits repeatedly.

I worked at Mazars (Less than a year)

    Pros

Staff were willing to coach and interns were given opportunities to take full ownership over assigned tasks. Friendly corporate culture

    Cons

IT department lacks funding and manpower, which reduces efficiency when there is any system downtime as IT department was unable to turnaround in time when staff approach them for technical problems.

    Advice to Management

Increase funding for back-end support functions like IT department
