    Pros

Decent money. Not too bad when your in managenent/ SMT favour

I worked at McCormick & Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Autonomy in work
    Positive team working
    Always new challenges
    Friendly atmosphere
Able to work with a range of departments
Feel like you make a positive difference

    Cons

Terrible working environment with the powered food blends escaping the factory and saturating the air in all the offices. I had to leave the company due to reactions to the air and absorption through my skin.
Company would not consider enabling me to work from home on a more permanent basis so that I could be away from the air and still do my job. So disappointing as I did not really want to leave!

    Pros

Great people and brands, exciting category both globally and locally, high potential for further growth, interesting M&A activity and solid mix of B2C and B2B portfolio.

    Cons

Highly commoditised core herbs & spices business putting pressure on top line growth, due to limited differentiation from store brands.

    Advice to Management

Drive greater alignment of strategy at global, regional and local level. Be bolder in portfolio choices. Have a more global approach to identifying and promoting top talent.

    Pros

Covered my expenses and subsidised food. Good overall experience and the team did not make me do jobs that they didn't want to do.

    Cons

Office space does not have a positive atmosphere. Some of the staff could have been more friendly.

    Advice to Management

No advice. Julia, the marketing manager, was great whilst I was working there.

    Pros

Nice people, a lot of them have been there for years and are really friendly,

    Cons

People capability is really poor, the staff is either junior or incompetent. The business is really risk-diverse and slow, nothing moves and nothing changes, No innovation pipeline, poor customer management, etc.

    Advice to Management

Leadership change is a must. Up the game in terms of capability, get people that actually understand what they are doing. Think long term and be capable to innovate and take calculated risk to grow.
