    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Meraki full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

One of the best workplaces in the world, Merak and Cisco make sure that employees are taken care of. And you have unlimited access to material to help you learn new skills.

    Cons

Support managers lack managerial experience. It feels as they have to call the US office for every major decision.

I have been working at Meraki full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

It is a great company to work for. The product is amazing and customers and partners love it which makes your job all the more rewarding! It is also a place where you are encouraged to bring ideas to the table. Leadership is approachable and there are lots of activities to encourage collaboration and employees well being.

    Cons

The expectations around growth are not always realistic. Meraki is great and it keeps growing but expecting the same growth % on different territories and with different resources is not realistic.

I have been working at Meraki full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    There's nothing positive to say

    Cons

    - Women are sexually harassed, discriminated against, and underpaid. Those who are consistently top performers are blocked from promotions and are not provided the coaching, support, and opportunities that men are given. If you are a woman, you are at a disadvantage. - Leadership is full of talentless individuals who tolerate sexism and inappropriate comments and behaviors. - It's a culture based on selfish behaviors that reward bad practices. There is a glass ceiling to get a promotion. A lot of social climbing people and those close to management get promotions rather than those that work the hardest. - A tense and long-hours working environment where you have no support or engagement for well-being. - Sales is an administration role, highly dependant on your Cisco AM - you're just updating discounts and shipping trials. - Success is highly dependant on the territory assigned.

Thank you for sharing your observations. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more from you. We expect every Merakian to be respectful and supportive. Harassment—of any kind, for any reason, of any person—is a violation of company policy, and we will not tolerate it. We’ve brought your concerns to leadership. We also recommend reaching out to the ethics team to make a report (you can do this anonymously). Again, thank you for taking the time to share your observations about behavior that is absolutely not condoned at Cisco Meraki. Your feedback makes us better. Together we can create a culture of respect and an environment where everyone feels supported.

I worked at Meraki full-time for more than a year

    Pros

*Free Lunches which do not cater for All and plenty of unhealthy snacks (not quite sure it's a pro but it depends on the individual). *Cisco resources available to Meraki employees/staff.

    Cons

*Talentless so called "leaders and managers" who are nothing but repeaters! *Worst management and full of yes men/women. *Poor Salary compared to other firms and companies if you benchmark.
