Pros

Nice building. Centrally located in San Ramon.

Cons

This place is full of erratic Managers with impulsive mood changes. One after another (6 that I can remember). They would all become manic, temperamental and unapproachable, picking their favorites and looking down on others. Bad behavior was condoned so tantrums in the hall, door slamming, or snotty office sessions were a common occurrence. There was no sense of camaraderie in that office. No sense of team work. Everyone's doors were closed. You were always much to busy as the company witnesses your success with 4 properties, so they unload 2 more on you to get their moneys worth out of you. Eventually when you start sinking under the mass amounts of Pressure, you are told that if you can't keep up they will get rid of you. Considering each property is like running a business, you are continually dealing with upset homeowners, Narcissistic-Nasty board members. That plus the Office Morale is enough to finish you off. Most employees are either fired for political reasons or end up leaving because they are having health issues from all the stress. The turnover was about 90% in the 6 years that I worked in the San Ramon office.

Pros

Pretty nice area to work in. Especially for eateries.

Cons

I worked in the San Ramon office for a number of years and we went through 5 Managers. Each started out good and then morf into a Monster a few months after being given the position. They were Not approachable, they were always moody, inconsistent and often played favorites and abused their power. The turnover of Employees was a revolving door as employees got too frustrated (and stressed) with the Company (and the lack of Management). There are a lot of bullies in this office. You have to watch your back. If you complain about these things, you are marked and targeted and fired. I saw many good people lost. Not even the main office in Aliso Viejo would listen as the same things kept happening over and over again with each Manager. Morale was at a all time low. Property Management can be tough but you will need battle gear to make it in this office. Yelling in the halls, slamming of doors and no team building once-so-ever. If Board members only knew about the chaos in this office.

Pros

*Huge division in Orange County *Benefits are great

Cons

*Unfair Treatment *Bullying in the workplace *Lowest salary paying company *Not supportive of time off, even if you are seriously ill or have a child *Nowhere to advance *Assistants are severely unpaid and are worked to the bone *Seriously understaffed *Supervisors have less knowledge about the industry than employees but desperate times call for desperate measures.
