Very unprofessional. Co-workers and upper managment treat you like crap, pay is low. Imagine the way the collectors treat people they are trying to collect money from and that is how they treat their employees! High turn over as well. They tell you, "you're doing great" then they fire you. They do everything possible to make sure you fail. The culture at M&K is slimey, told us we could wear Non-office clothes on Fri but only if it was green, the color of money, because we had made so much in one month. And they were serious. Was told by my boss to get these files done, I sent an e-mail stressing the importance to a fellow co-worker and my fellow co-worker complained I was being 'rude' in my e-mail. Then we had to have a meeting on how I could be 'nicer'. Micro-managment to the Nth degree. You have to sign out to go the bathroom! I stayed late to finish files and went behind the secretary's desk to get a binder, manager yelled at me 'Violation Violation!'. I wasn't allowed to get any supplies, I had only been there three months and didn't know. Another manager saw me and said she wasn't going to tell me I was doing something wrong. They WROTE ME UP!....I could go on forever about this place. Don't work at M&K.

Low pay, high turnover, ineffective training, prejudiced culture, drug use and sales, hostile work environment from shareholders, no direction for collection department. Simply put, Messerli and Kramer is unwilling to invest in technology, their employees, or values.
