Friendly employees, great benifits, poor management, and pay.

Pros

They have a great benifits package, yearly bonuses, coworkers are generally friendly depending on which department you work in, can build lasting relationships with members and coworkers. Usually a high rents took rate..

Cons

Little to no training for employees. There is no formal training department. Many employees learn as they go (only to find out about errors when they are scolded for it), they are inconsistent with policies and procedures, i.e. certain departments read books and play games during down time while busier departments finish, file, sort that other departments paper work, the computer system upgrade is a nightmare, members are spoiled and pretentious. If an employee follows policy and it does not please a member as long as that member throws a tantrum, all rules are thrown out and the member gets his or her way.

Pros

Coworkers were pleasant to work with and the facility was comfortable.

Cons

The leadership was steeped in credit union envy and competed against financial institutions that had no affect on its membership numbers.
