Pros
- Some nice coworkers - Customers were rarely rude
Cons
- The space behind the bar was tiny so everyone got in each other's way - Managers rarely put out rotas on time - Very cliquey - I wasn't aware of most work parties or group chats because I didn't know anyone from before working there - Barely above minimum wage - Managers blame you for wasting alcohol if you're young and part-time - We were told that monthly tips would be given as a prize to the best employee each month which never happened - 15 hour contract but was made to work much more despite management knowing I had exams
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
The people you work with and the training is well done- plenty of online and face-to-face education around safety and quality control.
Cons
The pay I would deem is low (as a bartender- arguments with tips), the hours can be long and you don't always get your break- you can be canceled last minute and it all takes a toll.

Pros
Great training plan, great team
Cons
Long hours, no work life balance
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Tips were decent part of income
Cons
Asking to come in on your day off was a regular thing. Using Facebook for comms, so you get management calling you in or telling you off on social media. Unfair treatment regarding assigning the hours. Making you pay out of your pocket for mistakes, that happen under high pressure. No culture, no respect for employees. Regular incidents in the restaurant, that haven’t been dealt with properly.
