I have been working at Mindshare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It offers a great work/life balance, it continually wins awards and strives for creative excellence, its people are always happy and sociable.

    Cons

My specific role doesn't necessarily have a clear career progression within the agency, as it's a new role here, but there is definitely a lot that I am learning, so it is definitely furthering my career experience.

I worked at Mindshare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice office space/location in downtown London. Work with larger clients. Decent work life balance. Friendly HR department.

    Cons

Lack of salary and position growth. Interns get preferencial treatment over people who have been hired from other companies when it comes to promotions. High turnover and almost no guidance from leadership/senior team members. Raises hard to come around & it didn't appear to be based on performance.

I worked at Mindshare for less than a year

    Pros

Great Culture, amazing office, big clients, interesting and very talented co workers and seniors, great training opportunities. I've only worked for 2 months there but I definitely recommend it. One advice would be to not be awkward because you can miss out on a lot of socialising there. It's a work hard play hard place. Work life balance is one of the reasons people stay and work for this agency from what I've heard. Programmatic team is growing fast at Mindshare, so was also very exciting to work there

    Cons

as an intern I had a lot of independent job and training so that was a bit of a downside, but as a permanent employee or placement student you get assigned to teams so I guess you won't have to experience that.

"Great work and clients. Overstaffed at Senior level"

I worked at Mindshare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Mindshare has a strong identity which makes it stand out from the competition and the company makes a constant effort to develop its identity and make sure it's reflected in any campaign. - The office is second to none. - Decent perks. - Great place to learn and develop multiple skills. Great clients and opportunities for anyone to be involved in exciting campaigns.

    Cons

    - Salaries are below the industry average. - Despite the agency's effort to improve the work-life balance, it's extremely common for Account Executives/Managers/Directors to work outside official working hours. It's part of the culture and almost encouraged. - Teams across all departments are understaffed and under constant pressure to deliver. On the contrary, there is an abundance of Senior figures whose contribution to the business success is obscure. - Being part of a group makes processes bureaucratic and complex. Nothing has really changed over the past 3 years. When there is a vacancy, hiring someone is easier than promote someone internally.
