I have been working at Ministry of Justice UK full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is a great starting point to enter the civil service. In my experience, the types of people who work there are very diverse, all with a range of different backgrounds and experience. It is my first role within the Civil Service and it has been very rewarding. The flexi-time is also a plus.

    Cons

In my current position, there is little progression opportunities. Whilst they provide you with different responsibilities given you have shown you are capable, you can apply for a team leader position/manager position, however there is very little progression after that point.
