    Negative Outlook

    I have been working at MinterEllison full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    You are just a number (pro if you enjoy being treated like that), seemingly impossible to get the sack (pro if you have a poor work ethic), free gym membership

    Cons

    You are just a number; poor leadership at Partner level; no regard for employee health or happiness; no payment for overtime/no time in lieu for excessive hours and workload; majority of staff are overloaded and leadership fail to improve conditions despite cries for help; leadership say all the necessary things to cover themselves but do not genuinely care about staff wellbeing, they simply want the work done whatever it takes; excessive and unreasonable pressures applied to all staff;

    I worked at MinterEllison full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Only gym membership. That’s all

    Cons

    - Your main value as an EA is to run personal errands like getting coffee and filling up water bottles - no valuable legal work to assist with - was texted at 7am telling me to come in urgently. No please or thank you. - spoken down to like dirt. - degrading work - silos between lawyers and non law staff - bad attitudes and egos - Catty and cliquey HR team. - their values are fake and are only targeted to lawyers. - no clear career progression for EAs

    I worked at MinterEllison full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    None. Average salary, other than a gym membership barely any other benefits. Small fruit box once a month and it disappears quickly.

    Cons

    Stay clear. The firm is rife with a culture of bullying and intimidation.
