- Long hours (like any law firm) - Bonus system doesn't always work (if you're the victim of write-offs out of your control) - While partners do genuinely care about the wellbeing of their teams, the work still needs to get done. So while they're still being grateful and appreciative, they're not exactly going to say "please don't sacrifice your night/weekend to get that done", rather they'll say "thank you for sacrificing your weekend to get that done, I really appreciate it".

Pros

Lots of work, interesting matters, free gym membership, exposure to a well resourced law firm

Like most BigLaw: long hours, uncertain and opaque promotion / partnership pathways, poor remuneration for the amount of profit you bring to the partnership
