Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookI worked at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams full-time for more than a year
Pros
The people (below the executive level) are genuinely nice people and hard workers. The cafe has delicious food and salaried employees are paid on a weekly basis.
Cons
Some members of the executive leadership team are less than desirable. The micromanaging style is unnecessary. The current CEO puts the retail group on a pedestal, treats the corporate staff like they are clueless, and has no interest in the manufacturing side of the business. There is an air of pretentiousness and it is very off putting. Be prepared to have numerous bosses as everyone at the executive level thinks their ideas and priorities should be your priorities. I hope the owners recognize and work to resolve this before it impacts the financials and the strong foundation they’ve worked hard to build. Don’t expect pay raises, time off, or even structured policies. Things that get told during the interview process are more of a desire than reality. Be prepared to be available 24/7. The location is not ideal for most and the office environment is constricting and stagnant. The daycare and gym are closed due to COVID so the only true amenity is the Cafe.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams full-time for more than a year
Pros
My immediate manager and teammates are an absolutely wonderful group of people. The on-site nurse/free prescriptions were a nice perk.
Cons
The corporate location in Taylorsville is not near anything interesting. Top management is always reactive, but then complains about a "lack of urgency". There are a lot of office politics in this company. The CEO and CFO tried to make sweeping changes to the business without actually understanding the business. Work/life balance is a joke, since the executives expect certain departments to be available 24/7.
