I have been working at Mitchells & Butlers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The vast size of the company means that what ever direction you’re looking to develop your career, there is a path you can take.

I started begin the bar and have worked my way through the ranks into a HR role, I’ve found that if you’re willing to develop and work hard, M&B will support you every step of the way.

    Cons

If it’s a career and development you’re looking for, there are no cons

    Advice to Management

    Continue to put people first

I worked at Mitchells & Butlers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great employee perks (such as discounts at their restaurants and pubs)
    - Great food for lunch, served at low prices

    Cons

    - Little to no progression, most people in my team had stayed in the same role (on average) for at least 10 years. Someone even celebrated 30 years in the role whilst I was there.

    Advice to Management

    - When you see talent, lift it up rather than only concentrating on the intake of inexperienced graduates in the grad scheme.
