    Pros

    - Amazing offices in the middle of Spinningfields (Manchester) - Great colleagues in general - It used to have a very friendly and fun atmosphere to work with. Even though work-wise has been dynamic and fast-paced throughout my experience. Sadly that's gone now. We used to introduce ourselves to the rest of our squads, everyone used to know who you were and what you did. - Promotions/squad movements are there to be taken if you shout about it - You're informed at all times. If there's anything in abundance, it's companies news about roadmaps and management briefs - Innovation Fridays (you can work on any project you want on a Friday, 'except' you have work to finish on.....cough) - various parties and gatherings, they are fun and upmarket

    Cons

    - Management wants you at the office ASAP after the pandemic is over (please consider personal reasons! not everyone can make the switch jussst like that, many have elder parents to look after, babies etc - and I know this is what we signed for, and the way it has been before, but the difference between then and now is called Covid19 - reason enough to consider) - Some people plain ignore colleagues and treat them with microaggressions, and not much is done about it - Turnover seems to be quite high at the moment - Not many benefits

I have been working at Moneysupermarket Group full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Interesting technology. The purpose of the business to save people money is great. MoneySavingExpert are part of the group and one of the things people work on. MoneySavngExpert's philosophy of always putting the customer first is awesome and something that's really lived out. Product engineering teams, not just development teams. Every team has a product manager that is integral to and runs the team (together with the tech lead).

    Cons

It is not clear what the strategy is for how office / home working with function post COVID

I have been working at Moneysupermarket Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good salaries- above market rate Nice office

    Cons

There’s a weird culture of very talented people “disappearing suddenly” and unwilling to discuss the reasons for their leaving with short or non existent notice periods. It’s been going on for years. Worked in a many big corporates and never worked anywhere like it but I feel very insecure about my role. It’s definitely part of culture but I’ve never known anything like it. You expect it at exec roles but it’s happening mid to exec

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Moneysupermarket Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

the original purpose is to help people save money and that used to be felt throughout the organisation, especially in MSE

    Cons

Peter Duffy the new chief exec who arrived in summer '20 is creating a culture of fear. Together with Andy Hancock the chief customer officer they've created a culture of stress, fear and underperformance. They don't care about people.

    Moneysupermarket Group Response

    April 27, 2021Chief People Officer

I'm sorry that you feel that way and respect your view of what you may have personally experienced. The business is going through lots of positive change as we look to reshape the future of price comparison and understand that change of any nature can be unsettling. Previous reviews have highlighted that we strive to fully support our colleagues and I am committed that we will continue to do so. Helping households save money remains very much the purpose at the heart of our business. Lisa Townsend Chief People Officer
