Cons
Non to mention at such an early stage

Pros
Some support given through tough times in the market and personal life. Hybrid working offered and fruit/ breakfast etc
Cons
Lack of incentives and big push on KPIs. Senior staff don't always know the market you're working so often difference to other desks has to be explained weekly. Success is dependent on your manager and support given.

very low commission scheme which locks you in for at least 12 month to earn anything substantial

Pros
Great Christmas party. Everyone on the contract or FTC London division are really nice. Everyone outside of the London office is extremely warm and welcoming.
Cons
The commission structure isn’t great, you’ll hear a lot of the consultants complain about this. Nor is it explained properly because half the managers struggle to understand it themselves. The London office is honestly the worst place to work in. So many big egos and unless you’ve been there for 3+ years, you’ll have no respect. Apart from one or two individuals in the perm division, a majority of them aren’t nice or inclusive. At least the contract London division has a more welcoming team and are supportive. Can’t say the same for Hakan’s perm division. No great training, they run this academy session which is actually good when you initially start but they need to provide more training. The staff turnover in recent times has been pretty high and honestly not the best environment to work or be apart of. You’re constantly judged till you bill and once you do, they question it if it’s luck or your hard work . They save face by masking everything with niceties, but they’re pretty toxic. It isn’t the best place to work for, but nor is it the worst place to work for. But there definitely are better places. Also when you complain about how cut throat Morgan McKinley is, you’ll always hear someone go “there’s more cut throat players, Morgan McKinley isn’t that bad” - that’s still not good enough. They pride themselves about being different and being better than most recruitment firms, they’re really not. They’re the same, only merely more flexible.

Pros
Great Christmas party, can’t really think of any others
Cons
No progression. One of the managers in Waterford office is the worst I’ve ever had, terrible culture there and office politics. The amount of b******g that everyone did about each other was horrible! Awful environment. Nobody stays for long. Some serious bullying going on down there
