      Pros

Great traders, happy to share business knowledge if they think it can help you deliver a better service. Great IT infrastructure, you can learn a lot. Very respectful of your work/life balance

      Cons

Poor management culture on the IT side. (very few meetings, poor level of collaboration, and if you are contracting you may not even be on the radar whether you want to contribute or request information/training/escalation)

      Pros

Here we are: - Smart people - Good infrastructure (compared to some other top banks) - Year on year improvements in the culture. It moves further from classical financial player image (at least in IT). Work Life balance improves - Competitive pay

      Cons

MS being one of the largest financial institutions comes with obvious downsides. - You might get unlucky with your team. Haven't worked in or with such but heard a couple of bad stories - Number of formal process which you do need to follow . It is impossible to be productive and follow them 100% though. - Cross team/departments communication/collaboration could be complicated and politicized make large projects a chore - Strange situation with quality assurance in some areas of IT
