Pros

The pros working here were the office girls and some of the guys.

Cons

They are unorganized, only care about money, it is made very clear without saying it that your just another worker. They pretend to care about you but they don’t. They pick the jobs that they think will make more money and reschedule people that were already on the schedule at the last minute. Techs are constantly hired and then fired when someone “better” comes around. Management is all screwed up. One person tells you to do something then the other comes and your in trouble for doing it. You get in trouble for declining something we don’t do ten get told to call them back and we will do it because we are slow. When the schedule isn’t full we get in trouble like we are the ones that make the phones ring. Benefits totally suck. Old equipment (phones, computers, broken desks) that they refuse to replace. Micromanaging is highly annoying from the owner. Managers do things and don’t put nots in then blame you for the problem. Constantly feel stressed out and had anxiety going to work. No raises.

Pros

Most have no clue here so you'll look like a star. That's about it.

Cons

You supply all tools. You will be expected to charge about $300-700 an hour. The franchisees are investors that have been sold a business plan that is all about taking money out of your pocket with insane parts markups and stuff like fuel charges on every invoice, plus the lowest commission rates around. Similar to the Contractor 2000/ Nexstar cult like brainwashing tactics are used to try to make you believe that, for example, installing a cleanout should cost $3500-8500. You will find the typical backstabbing office vs. serviceman relationship here, and have people that have nowhere close to you skill level trying to treat you like a subordinate every day. Moral of you fellow serviceman will be horrible. You'll be lucky to get more then two calls a day. Inspectors and public work employees will be after you and look at you like a scumbag thief. You'll be expected to sell "advantage plans" for $199 to "help" customers save money. These plans may bring the prices down to near what the industries TOP average flat rate jobs SHOULD cost.

Pros

One would work there if they can't find a job anywhere else. It is run like a cult, you come in at 6 am twice a week and read a list of propaganda how to live and work and behave. Then you go out there and you must rip off customers and charge a lot of money for unnecessary work. It's commission only and you don't lie and cheat, you don't eat.

Cons

I could repeat all that, but I think you get the message. Not a nice place to work.
