Pros

I cannot think of any

Cons

Where to begin? This firm was always in some sort of emergency about something. Almost all the people that worked their when I started quit. That should tell you everything you should know. The last review that was posted on this website from June 19, 2015 doesn't seem real. It lacked detail and had seemed to have a lot of sales jargony stuff in it. This law has a very small staff. You get so many phones calls and emails everyday you cant keep up. If anything goes wrong, you will be yelled at literally. Someone will literally yell and scream at you if any little thing goes wrong, and stuff constantly goes wrong. So if you don't like getting yelled at and made to feel bad about yourself definitely do not work their. If anyone from this firm makes a promises to you, get it in writing. Do not trust anything they tell you unless it is in writing. You cant trust what anyone tells you either when you get hired or while you work their either. Do not accept a cell phone from them. If they try to give you a cell phone, refuse it. If you do decide to take a job with the firm, ask them what happened to the last person that worked your job. If they trash talk the person, that means they will also trash talk you to someone else. Ask for the contact information for the person that you replaced and contact that person you replaced and ask what its was like at their job. They will tell you the same thing I did, or refuse to talk. I would be shocked if anyone says anything nice. You will be promised so many things to get you hired. But they turn out to be not true or just half true. Be suspicious. There like a bad abusive bf. If you do take a job here, eventually they will call you and say inappropriate and crazy things to you over the phone or in person. The more you work here the crazier the things they will yell at you. They do it over the phone so no one else will know and you cannot prove it. I advice you to write everything they say down and email them to your personal email as well as the person who yelled at you like a transcript of what they say to you. I doubt you will ever get a promotion or a raise because the longer you stay at this job the more they try to make you think you aren't good at it.

Employment/ Employee Review for Musca Law

Pros

Pros: John is great guy. He will listen to you if there is problem. He may not do what you want but you will be heard. Challenges of criminal trial practice all present. Westlaw, work laptop etc, technology is great.

Cons

Cons: A required contract, so make it work for you. Limit the number of counties you are willing to travel. Also limit the number of cases. For example, if you have 9 cap sex batt’s and homicides how many more cases can you handle? Some lawyers in the firm have over 200 cases which is unreasonable.
