-The President/CEO is self focused
-Intellectual capital left the organization post BTJ, now more filled with traditionalists than progressives, also the current staff has fewer relevant connections in the social justice space
-It went from operating like a 21st century social justice organization to operating like a baptist church in Selma post BTJ
-CEO loves to be around those less experienced than he so he can feel like the smartest person in the room
-Too many demands from the top outside of their area of expertise (lack of trust of employees' skills/network/education)
-Felt like we were operating in the dark, no clear objectives, kind of ambulance chased instead of tackling issues with a plan or telling people what we were doing, which was alot
-Didn't go for the "low hanging fruit," which was odd
-Not enough respect outside of your own team for your in demand expertise or skillset
-Meddling Board of Directors members that email or call you directly, disrupting your workflow (which should not be allowed)
-Lack of human resource department intervention/management
