    I have been working at NHS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    It's a worthwhile job and contributes to the health and well-being of our whole society.

    Cons

    The pay is terrible for most people, the thinking is ossified and the Banding system is rigid and creates unnecessary stratification. Inappropriate people and companies are employed to do work, who knows why?

    Advice to Management

    Think more creatively, procure more wisely, implement more efficiently, recruit more effectively; don't ask for suggestions and then ignore them thereby paying lip-service to the whole idea of inclusive and open thinking. Have a really good think about why it is that up to a point the more people are paid the less they actually work - this is especially true of people in the region of Band 6. Below them people work harder...
