Dysfunctional culture with poor, incompetent leadership and low pay

NTT DATA is a dysfunctional IT services firm that operates like a collection of many companies than a global, singular, IT services leader. NTT DATA is the 2nd largest IT services firm in the world (behind Accenture) if you can believe it --- problem is, it has a TERRIBLE brand identity. The company has no work culture whatsoever, due to the fact that the companies it has collected in its history have all been operated as separate mini-departments instead of a whole. Every such group is run in its own disjointed way -- devoid of proper strategy and competent leadership. Every company acquired by NTT DATA dies a slow painful death internally and gets stifled by the bureaucratic culture of the whole. I was part of one such practice -- where we had no merit increases for the past 3 years and the bonus structures kept getting worse each year.
