I worked at Namify part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The coworkers really made this job for me. Pretty easy to get hired if you need some job experience.

    Cons

Tends to emphasize dedication for unskilled labor; higher expectations than what training reflected at times. The sales department overpromises at times creating a ton of stress and crunch for the production floor.

We appreciate your feedback and concern. The health and safety of our employees is very important to us and is our top priority. Where we recognize the concern of harsh chemicals, we have undergone several safety inspections by certified OSHA representatives or other third party inspectors regularly and have adhered to their recommendations. We also recognize that if there is a concern, both Supervisors/Managers and our HR Director are trained to take those concerns seriously and to take immediate action to ensure the safety of all employees who work at Namify along with Vendors, Clients, and Visitors who come through our facility as well. I have been working at Namify part-time for more than a year

    Pros

So to start this off: I love this place. Everybody I’ve worked with has been amazing and keeps me here. My manager is one of the best people I’ve worked with and my co-workers keep me occupied mentally. The job is fairly easygoing, all and all a nice experience. Keeping employees happy with lunch on Monday and Wednesday was a great idea and the hydration station makes a great addition. I also love that we get certain holidays off for family time. This makes me think that the company does truly care about ones home life, But with all jobs there are a few downsides.

    Cons

Like all places there are some sour apples when it comes to co-workers. Two come to mind, I won’t name them but I’ll say they did leave the worst reviews here. For example: the one claiming that she had to walk on eggshells was rather quite deceiving. She actually wanted to frame the new girl for a inpropperly made 500 tag order that she screwed up on. The reason for so was that she was about two steps away from being fired for poor efficiency. She also had lied about management which got her a nice little ticket to HR. Promptly being fired, she had left a nasty response which in my own opinion she had brought on herself. The second person was another one star: He seemed like fun, until he didn’t get his way. Yet again he wasn’t the best at his job, saying we had gotten a large amount of stress from him not using the lasers properly to make tags. He at one point had left me in a sour mood on a bad day, But who knows maybe making a suicide joke the day a close friend had done it may be an ok thing to do. Other than the bad apples I do wish I was paid more, compared to Walmart’s checking service I get paid less. With the job being naturally repetitive you can easily get fairly bored. Which I have come up with a solution by simply listening to an audio book or music. All and all though, if you can get past the toxic parts of humanity and the repitition this is a great job to have.

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

I really enjoy when I have stuff to do all day. It makes the day go by fast and there is never really any down time. I know some may not like that but it works really well for me! I really enjoy also the team that I work with. Its fun to have friends at work and Linda my manager is the best.

    Cons

Sometimes I just need a little more direction on the orders that I do. The sales team enters them in different ways so it can be a challenge to follow it all.

I worked at Namify full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pay Scale keeps growing as you grow you revenue. It took me a couple years to grow to the point where I was making over 60K per year and the work to get there was pretty tough but rewarding. I spent 9 or so hours on average each day getting myself there. They did give me good leads so that helped out and the marketing team would help me with presentations as well. We got food a couple times a week which was nice. The offerings were a little boring after a while but I hear they have change some things up.

    Cons

Work space for the sale team was pretty loud because its a large open work space. My boss was always busy working on jobs and different things so I did have to learn a lot on my own

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

This is the first company where I have actually felt cared about. I very much enjoy the people I work with because I know that I have true friends here. I enjoy the activities that we do throughout the month, they are always different and help refresh us from the mundane. The lunches have been top notch and I know that she always tried to have variety which is exciting for us. The CEO is very kind and giving. I've heard a couple of stories about him personally helping out quite a few people in the company with their struggles in life. He always talks to those around him when he does work out in the warehouse, which is another really cool thing about him. He is right out there in production some days helping with fulfillment of orders and not just sitting in his office because he truly wants this company to succeed which is pretty evident. So in all, I really do enjoy this company and they have my dedication for life.

    Cons

Once something goes wrong on an order because of something in production then all of a sudden everyone knows about it and people are talking bad about them. Negativity is spread like wildfire and it's hard to be brought back from that.

I have been working at Namify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Of all the places I have worked, none of them have had the kind of employees that Namify does. No matter what kind of problems or setbacks arise, there's never a shortage of hard work and determination from these people to get things back on track and running smoothly again. I really don't know if I can put into words how much I admire these kind of people keeping the company going.

    Cons

The higher-ups are another story. In general, the VPs give off a feeling of superiority. I don't mean in job title, but demeanor. They act inconvenienced or disinterested when you need something from them. The CEO just seems fake to me. He tries way too hard act like "one of the guys", and only bothers to learn about his employees as he's given a paper to read their achievements from when he decides to give them a $20 sleeping bag or a cheap backpack that has "Namify" on it. I would not be surprised at all to learn that everyone here is underpaid (except the higher-ups of course). It's not only depressing; it's insulting. I know of several employees who have college degrees that are likely making $11/hr. To top it off, the CEO has the gall brag about how well the company is doing during his monthly meetings while no one gets raises to reflect it. Every single one of the employees here deserve more respect than that. The "incentives" to work harder for no extra pay are laughable. Like I mentioned above, the CEO will once a month give out a cheap sleeping bag to someone who has sacrificed having a personal life to stay at work to get everything done on time. Those who didn't quite kill themselves enough to earn that honor used to get a backpack, but they stopped even giving those out a few months ago. You have the option to contribute to a 401k with 4% company matching, I believe. Which is good, but the problem is, you have to be an employee for a year before that's available to you. The turnover rate is fairly high here. Not many people get to this point in employment.

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

On the contrary to what will follow, there are strengths in Namify. The employees (not the management) are what make the company somewhat bearable to work for. These are the kindhearted, humble, non-higher up and motivated individuals who come into work with the attitude to finish the job. It is very admirable to see such great individuals push through various kinds of grunt work for such little reward. You are what keeps the company going, and without you, Namify is nothing more than a group of haughty and supercilious individuals who pat themselves on the back a little too often for accomplishments they didn't make.

    Cons

Things People Are Too Afraid To Say: - The 'training' at Namify is the equivalent of having an experienced surgeon give you a butter knife and then ask you to perform a coronary artery bypass. - I would sooner believe that the cure to cancer would be to eat mass amounts of Twix chocolate bars than believe a member of management who promises a raise. - Getting help at the DMV at their busiest hour is easier than receiving actual help from a supervisor. - An employed individual at Namify is like a college freshman taking on 20 credit hours: you are constantly overwhelmed, tired, stressed, and have no idea what you're doing half the time, but hey, at least you get a backpack. - You know the pay is bad when the starting wage at McDonald's is higher than Namify's production team's. - I'm pretty sure a piece of steamed broccoli would motivate me more to work than the pitiful monthly incentives that are given to the same 15 people. - I've heard more gossip and hate spoken around the company (from both normal employees and management) than I've heard watching The View. - Do any of you have that one friend who is generally nice and courteous to you, but when they are with a certain group of individuals they suddenly shy you away like a moldy sock in an attempt to establish some dominance? Yeah, that's the CEO, except with more hand gestures.

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

I can't speak for the company as a whole since I just work in production, but Namify has that sort of unspoken family vibe. I can tell everyone cares about each other and everyone is really kind. Production is really fun and it doesn't really feel like work if you're a crafty person. My manager is understanding and will adjust my schedule should something come up, and I feel comfortable talking to her if I have a concern. Everyone is willing to help each other and it's just a really fun place to be!

    Cons

Occasionally sales reps can be salty, but it's understandable. Also, there are different names for the same product which can get confusing. Sometimes a bad egg will be hired which can cause problems within the workplace, or someone who doesn't have a good work ethic or not enough experience can slow things down.
