I worked at Nando's UK part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working in Nando`s is great if you are studying in the meantime. The working hours are flexible and most of the workers are students too so you gain lots of nice friendships.

    Cons

No career opportunities. The company hires young and younger managers which don`t know how to manage people correctly. Awful management.

I have been working at Nando's UK full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Friendly people. 4 week sabbatical every 5 years worked. 3 day conference every 2 years with plenty of team trips and teambuilding events

    Cons

Long working hours if your line manager doesn't manage their recruitment properly. Not loads of options in the north outside of the restaurant.

    Advice to Management

Invest in making sure there is always enough back up management positions.

    Cons

    - can be quite clicky (depends on the store though)
    - nature of the job means hours can be rather un-sociable

I have been working at Nando's UK full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very nice management team with extremely flexible working hours that can accommodate a hectic lifestyle. Would definitely recommend if you want to work hard and play harder.

    Cons

Sometimes as good as the flexibility is, rigidity lacks and so you can have difficulty planning ahead like trips, time off etc. And as you could be working weekends, it's not always as straightforward to get the time off you want.

    Advice to Management

The best advice I could give is to pay attention to staff needs as it is a relatively young workforce primarily composed of students, they have to take into account the availability hours.
