    I have been working at Nationwide Building Society for less than a year

    Pros

    Customer focus, vibrant atmosphere, little politics. Good place to work with plenty of focus on the soft skills. Lots of communication.

    Cons

    Limited car parking, scattered offices, big organisation. Swindon location although new is already overloaded. Plenty of scope for improvement as systems are basic.

    Pros

    Benefits of a large entity e.g. potential to move roles and gain more varied experience, good benefits, job security, nice building, flexitime allowed

    Cons

    Not very good at recognition or development - large entity negatives such as siloing, the potential to be forgotten about or not noticed, managers not knowing what the processes are
