      The engineering staff is committed.

      Cons

      Lack of communication, leadership does not lead. No real structure provided. Favoritism runs rampant. Not a progressive or change- ready environment. Unsustainable habits throughout. Leaders lead by intimidation.

      Pros

      The round rock/Austin location is a mess. Management lacks experience. Facility is in disarray. Larry is the worst lab supervisor I have ever witnessed. The pay is low, the benefits are bad. Health insurance is $620/month and that's the cheapest. They were never happy about granting my PTO. Always felt like they expected you to not use your PTO and to work for free before 8am and after 5pm. They do have a really nice setup for commercial testing.

      Cons outweighs the pros. Engineers are constantly leaving. Huge turnover rate in EMC. No one stays for many than 2 years.

      Pros

      Some of the better reasons to work here is because the work-life balance seems to be good. Ability to work in a hybrid work from home a few days and in office a couple days. There is flexibility in your days or time. There is also work recognition for certain employees when high dollar projects are completed and when customers are happy.

      Cons

      Some of the cons of working here include the company culture has employees at this location who are stress and not happy every day. There is absolutely no job security and you can be terminated for no reason given. This company can feel like a "cult" if you aren't part of the inner circle.
