Pros
Great people who are trying to make due with what they are given. Easy drive to work. Free coffee, on site cafe.
Cons
Absolutely NO work life balance. They offer you the chance to work 4, 10 hour shifts a week so you can have three days off.. sounds nice until your shifts turn into 12 hour shifts due to the insane amount of work they give you. I am absolutely not complaining about being given many tasks, but they are extremely short staffed due to the turnover rate being so high. Low staffing numbers, combined with the sales... team over selling product leaves the Owner Services team stressed and feeling anxious all day. You are graded harshly on any mistakes and it affects how you are scheduled (you start working night shifts). Putting everyone on their toes if any small mistake or mix up is made. When I first interviewed a little over a year ago, NetJets was rated a 3.5 on Glassdoor... now it has reached a 2.9. I think that tells everyone that something is not being done right.

Treat Owner Services like the important part of the company that they are. Sales and corporate positions are glorified, leaving the OS team underpaid and overworked.

Pros
Amazing company, innovative atmosphere, great people to work with in every department. Everyone works as a team to accomplish main goals.
Cons
This isn't a con, it just speaks to the quality of the company; it's really hard to get in. Experience and qualification requirements are high.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at NetJets full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Great people who live for aviation and the adventure of making a profit when other companies can't.
Cons
Company had problems making 5% profit and does not meet the normal Berkshire Hathaway 10 to 14% profit margins. Constant cutting and elimination of high dollar/high skilled staff will eventually compromise the safety record and eventually destroy the company.
Advice to Management
Break free from Berkshire and start running the business with pride and passion like the old days.

"Executive Management Team Trusts No One"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at NetJets full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
Large Aviation Company, 401K match, some great people still remain, despite being understaffed in almost every single department across the board, people still make sure the customers are taken care of.
Cons
Micromanagement to the core, Executive Management Team that trusts absolutely no one - not even themselves, Executive Leadership Team makes decisions against recommendations of the very people they employee, Executive Leadership Team thinks they are the smartest people in the industry, even though they have minimal experience in the industry. Executive Management Team has cut the workforce to below safe operating... levels and they refuse to work with the union groups. The CEO has made so many bad decisions and has gotten the company is too many lawsuits to even count. Now he is trying to compete with the competition on costs and not service. NetJets was once the premiere fractional ownership company that had the reputation of providing premiere service and if this CEO would just realize that the customers want premiere service and to arrive safely and on time, maybe he will realize you need to treat your people with respect and not rule by fear. During this time of growth, NetJets should be eliminating its competition, instead the CEO is letting the competition cherry pick its customer base.

Trust your people. Invest in your people. While you may be "leading" this company, the people around you are what make the company go. With such a customer focused business you need to take care of the people taking care of the customer. With the current Executive Leadership Team currently in place, I do not foresee this company treating its employees any better going forward.
