      Pros

      - 50% discount - Nice team - When hitting KPIs was very rewarding

      Cons

      - Push to hit KPIs can be quite aggressive - Not all teams are nice because I transferred and didn't get along with the team as well as I did in my previous team

      No work life balance

      Pros

The in store team were great & other local stores were often supportive of each other. Employees got 50% discount. Holiday entitlement could increase dependant on length of service. Good training offered going to stores of learning. Conferences communicated information well. Lots of opportunity for progression. The company is good for a sales assistant and a start off or if you’re prepared to have little work-life balance.

      Cons

The biggest con for me was work life balance. The standard contract was 40hours per week excluding lunch break but you were expected to work in excess of this to get tasks complete (RP launches, sales, delivery etc.) sometimes you were asked to come in early or stay late. Regional rule was that all store managers must work all Fridays and Saturdays and every other Sunday. You were asked not to take two days off together as this would negatively impact the store. Even during annual leave you would be expected to come into work on certain cases (covering manager absence, limited staff and no one else to cover.) Personal information did not remain confidential with those above you and was shared with colleagues. managers were expected to do everything themselves in small-mid stores as the structure didn’t allow for many other supervisors. Hours were often reduced to save money meaning work was hard to complete on time resulting again in managers needing to come early. No one supporting recruitment at lower levels (sales assistants) So has to be managed at store level. personal well being was not considered and you were even asked to come into work when sick on occasions. Some vacancies were not advertised and individuals were simply promoted. Salary varied - my start off manager salary was no more than my supervisor role as it was my first role and I was a risk. Annual increases stopped in around 2013-2014. Lack of support from senior managers when you needed it and asked for it! - particularly regarding managing people within the store. Redundancy pay is shocking.

      Pros

Friendly colleagues 50% discount , but not a big range to choose for menswear clothes

      Cons

Few hours given if you would like to work 40h, look for something else, they give 4h contract. Short staff on the floor. Very Small chances to progress to a career. If you are a supervisor you get only 40p extra than a sale advisor .
