Pros

NoRedInk has a supportive, collaborative, and hands-on work culture. The salaries are good, the benefits are great, and the coworkers are very fun!

Cons

The company has big plans for the future and sometimes they don’t communicate with everyone the vision.

Pros

Over the past two years, NRI has gone through meaningful change, and it truly feels like we’re on the brink of something great. The team is deeply committed to the product and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure we’re delivering the best possible experience. There’s a strong emphasis on work-life balance, with unlimited PTO that’s genuinely encouraged, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of a mission that’s making a positive impact on students’ lives.

Cons

Pushing changes can be challenging and often takes a long time to implement improvements.

What I've been looking for for a long time

Pros

- Thoughtful and intentional leadership, goals are reasonable but motivating. - Strong compensation compared to my experience in other parts of the industry - Company is legitimately focused on its mission, you can tell how serious they are on ensuring everything they build has input from teachers and students. - The company as a business is focused on profitability and long-term success over short term wins and cheap unsustainable growth. The exec leaders here speak in such a measured and honest way about company objectives it made my jaw drop the first time I heard them. - They are willing to invest in their people and customers to ensure success.

Cons

- Benefits package could be more robust, no 401k matching - Company is clearly going through a period of change as they become more intentional about growth. There has been some noticeable friction particularly given longer tenured employees came straight from teaching and are less business oriented.
