I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

Huge company working on some of the most challenging problems in the DOD. Good benefits. Lots of opportunities if you know how to take advantage of them.

      Cons

TS sector is contracting - layoffs and uncertainty will be a reality until they figure some things out. Size of company creates possibility of being pigeon holed into a role for extended periods. Mostly due to security concerns the company uses out dated technology and tools for corporate management making it more difficult to do your job.

      Cons

Executives out of touch, abusive supervisors, old boys club, hard to get recognized for your work if you aren't in the in crowd.

      Advice to Management

Promote some of your more senior talent, More and more very young and inexperienced are being promoted, it shows, part of why people are leaving

I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

Good for cleared staff, bad for the civilian sector (Technical services). Probably very good for junior tech people.
