    Cons

Managers who don't manage, negative culture, poor staffing decisions (ie, allocation and work load distribution)

I have been working at Novartis full-time

    Pros

Global company with a really nice corporate structure.

    Cons

People without the needed experience to run a pharmaceutical plant makes it a chanllenge to spend a day without being frustrated.

    Advice to Management

Do not be overcompliant, but put enough care in compliance that we can run a business and have the regulatory agencies and our customers happy.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Pays well
    Tries to focus on innovation
    Not a lot of beuracracy

    Cons

Every employee is treated like a number, does not value its employees
Churns and burns people out, senior leadership is a revolving door
Runs the company like a bank, is unable to invest in the long term health of the business (R&D, IT, etc)

    Advice to Management

It costs more to bring in outsiders than it does to treat the people you have fairly
The existing business slow down has finally caught up to our inability to get out of the focus on the current month, current qtr, current year.
