I worked at Novartis as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent working environment with friendly and helpful staff and management. Really enjoyed my experience as an intern.

    Cons

Can't recall any negative aspects of working at Novartis. Was hired through an agency so any administrative issues were dealt with through them.

They don't take care of the development of young people and they don't have too many young people

I have been working at Novartis as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

As there are less technical people, so there is a huge scope for people to take up the challenge of solving problems on their own. Your work is highly recognized in this company.

    Cons

The only con that I can find in this company is people are not familiar with technology. So we need to convince them to use it.

I worked at Novartis as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Caring boss and superiors. Had the opportunities to go out and meet doctors to learn insights of the pharmaceutical industry. Went to the factories onsite for training. Overall really a good experience.

    Cons

Minimal interactions across functions. There are some slight politics among the workers but it is common and exists in every industry. Not a big problem.

    Advice to Management

Wellfare seems to slant more towards the ladies, compared to the men. Therefore, perhaps can incentivise the males more to reduce their turnover rate which seems to be higher.

I worked at Novartis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great name to have on a resume. Fair pay, great environment, and many knowledgeable people to learn from

    Cons

Future career options limited. Very rarely hire interns to full time positions, even if you do outstanding work. Also, employees often move horizontally throughout the company, not vertically.

    Advice to Management

    Give interns future opportunities
