Pros

Nucleus is a great company with some incredible people. It is hard to list all the benefits of working at Nucleus, which is reflected in our growth, culture, and industry respect. Clear mission - it is obvious why what we do matters. We get to work with the most important organizations in the world. You will never question why you're here. Innovation - Nucleus truly is a leader in the space for a reason. The push to innovate and be creative in problem solving is awesome. Supportive Leadership - the reason you can be creative in problem solving is because you are given a lot of trust. When you work at Nucleus, management trusts you to get the job done and they support your career growth. Teamwork - Sales and engineering hang out with each other at offsites on purpose, do I really need to elaborate? Recognition - Everyone is excited about the contributions of others. It really feels like we all win when someone wins. Strong benefits - Nucleus has very strong benefits packages, and they listen to you when you have any concerns. This isn't going to be a FAANG benefits package as a remote company, but very strong in many areas, and above normal market for sure.

Cons

Nucleus is a remote company, which means that it can be challenging to built a culture across the business. Expect that there may be frustrations with getting people on the phone sometimes just because of being remote and so busy. It is fast-paced. If you're not careful then you will find yourself wanting to keep working because of how exciting of an environment. You need to make time to disconnect.

We believe that the reviewer has mistaken Nucleus Security for another business (e.g. Nucleus Software). The reviewers says that they have worked at the company more than 10 years, however Nucleus Security has only been in existence for five years. Furthermore, this one-star review and these comments are not at all descriptive of Nucleus Security, which is evidenced by the rating and comments in all other reviews of Nucleus Security.

Pros

Nucleus affords its team members lots of autonomy to deliver work as you see fit. As long as your intentions are good and you're working hard, you will retain this autonomy and earn the respect of your colleagues. The founders and team are made up of friendly, caring people who are very driven and supportive. In our culture, we have a no a-holes policy that has held strong over time. Most of us also have a good sense of humor. The founders are sincere in their desire to solve real problems for our customers and build the best product, business, and culture possible. The benefits are also very generous! As long as "your house is in order", you can take time off as you wish.

Cons

Nucleus is a startup environment so you need to be self-motivated and self-regulated. You need to be able to plan and act without a lot of direction or oversight. We are also a predominately remote workplace so you need to be an excellent communicator and a team player. Trust is very important, and if you can't maintain it with your colleagues, you will not last long.
