    I worked at Nutanix full-time

    Pros

Nutanix was a precursor of HCI technology a few years ago, so back then you knew you were working with new exciting technology.

Fast forward to 2017 and the same stuff is done (some say better...) by the competition.

So the pros no longer outdo the cons (as below).

    Cons

Work-life balance is nonexistent. Managers expect you to work extra hours as if you don’t have a life. And, unless you’re in the clique, they don’t even give you any respect for it in the process.

If you are a female, run a mile. This beer club is only for dudes and bros.

You'll be accepted and kept on board, but only as long as you're not perceived to be easily replaceable via much lower paid employees offshore.

I have been working at Nutanix full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is vibrant with a strong culture and ethics. It's hungry, honest, humble values make it a very different place to work. As with any fast growth company a lot of emphasis is on the employee to be a master of their own destiny. There are plenty of challenges to extend your skills and the benefits are very good for a company of its size,

    Cons

The expectations are high and for some these are difficult to meet. As the company grows change is ever present and if you find change difficult, then it can be hard to adapt.

    Advice to Management

Never judge a book by its cover, always be open minded about the individual
