    Management are awful you are never given a job based on what you do its who you know I had no trust in management whatsoever STAY AWAY!!!

    Hire people who actually care about customers and don't see them like cash cows give more people the chance to progress not people who brownose

    Pros

    Very little, was told I’d be “rubbish at any job I ever did” & that if “this conversation is off the record if you tell anyone I’ll deny it”.

    Cons

    Was told when I called to say my grandparent passed “we really don’t understand why you need time off”. Nice.

    Advice to Management

    Have some bleeding empathy, peoples lives and families are a bit more important than your statistics.

    Some people are okay to work with

    Cons

    I worked in O2 franchise company Avertec in Angel. Some people were not nice to work with. Especially senior management abusing their power was very obvious. For example some people who work in finance and have their own businesses, and during work hours actually work on their own projects that are not work related, someone should check what employees do during working hours. But nobody seems to care and with such management unfortunatelly there is no way forward.

    Would like to see people care about their work

    Advice to Management

    More budget & risks should be taken in the innovation space. Should play a more aggressive role to drive the market in IOT, Cloud, NFV/SDN, 5G etc rather then be a follower.

    Pros

    Good perks in the form of many friends and family discounts and a very cheap phone and tariff.

    Cons

    Recruitment not clear about job role, poor on the job training, poor staffing so always understaffed. Too much throughput for a job that requires a reasonable amount of time to learn the ropes of.

    "Flexible" working hours, when really they just shove you in on all the weekends and make it near impossible to take life off.

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay and try and retain staff for longer.

    Great opportunity to progress if you really want to. They also offer excellent benefits for lifestyle and personal development.

    in the retail division you can sometimes feel limited and undervalued

    Improve the resources that you give to staff in store, improve the working relationship between the different divisions, from retail to customer service centres etc.
