Generous Discount at OfficeWorks stores. With standard discounts at Coles group stores(excl Bunnings) Engaging environment, customers can be very friendly. Active environment helps with muscle development if not stuck at POS or print n copy. Internal net gives great opportunities to learn more about business, safe practices etc. though would need to explore in own time.

Cons

Management often do not communicate within store leadership team(slt). Results in finding things out last minute and shifts cut without much warning. Often problems occurring in store with SLT cannot be addressed as disengaged AreaManager does not talk with team members. You’ll often see a rush for the week before a Visit to get store ready. Also, team room, is devoid of natural light, chairs broken, same with tables. Finally it’s retail, customers can be rude. They’re human, it’s bound to happen with some of them.

Positive environment as a team member with great incentives.

Cons

Area Managers push Coordinators and store managers to a point of stress where mental health becomes an issue. Running a business on fear.

The customers, having regulars come in and caring how you are having a conversation, the team and how we become one little family.

Cons

There is always one team member who thinks they are better than the others and thinks they can control others, calling for a service 2 and no one coming
