Pros
Reasonable management, Plenty of hours, people do retire from here but older contracts helps that. This is a truck drivers union so truck drivers are well paid- the rest are paid at 40-50% below average.
Cons
Below average pay for equipment operators (20) and mechanics (24). Health coverage requires $6K out of pocket before the rest of the tab is picked up- combined with substandard pay equals a very modest lifestyle. Over 40hrs usually required. Bad Work/Life Balance.
