I have been working at Omnicom part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Recognise and celebrate good work. Senior management are relatively approachable. Overall the leadership team try to be transparent. Not full of grads unlike some agencies.

    Cons

Sometimes puts clients over employee wellbeing, but this is true of a lot of agencies. Not as open with flexible working as other agencies. Disjointed teams - not as collaborative as they should be given we are a communications industry. As with much of the industry, more to be done in terms of pushing for equality and across all areas (BAME, gender, class, parents, disability etc).

I have been working at Omnicom full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Own some of, if not, the best agencies across the creative landscape today. Famous institutions that were once so well regarded in their field until Omnicom decided to squeeze the life out of them

    Cons

Trying to downsize and fit all of their agencies into Bankside, an ageing and stale building that even RBS didn't want. They're now packing an extra 400 people in, making working at home mandatory because there aren't enough desks. Rates set are too high, targets are unrealistic meaning that the once great agencies of the world are now nothing more than sweat shops, churning out mediocre work in the hope that they hit Omnicom's targets whilst having their workforce, workspace and benefits cut constantly.
