Pros

- The people you work with are all inspired and driven. You will learn and level up your understanding and skills by simply being around the amazing people that make up the base of this company. - Free products. Their products really are some of the best out there. - Free gym.

Cons

- The only reason there are not more negative reviews that dive into more details is because everyone they have 'let go' has been made to sign a watertight NDA to receive any type of severance. - The only people that benefit from the 'amazing company culture' of Onnit are those that have been brought into the inner circle of Aubrey's cool kids. - Almost everyone else is worked to the bone and are constantly reminded of how little they matter. Leading to an almost frantic overworking culture because everyone is afraid of losing their jobs. This is particularly true of the content, research, and marketing teams. - Promises of development and advancement are empty, and if you try to aks for what you were promised it will be turned on you.

Pros

Great benefits Use to be a great place to work but that changed quickly

Cons

Working at Onnit has been a disheartening experience. The toxic environment created by our current CEO, Travis, is alarming. His penchant for gossip and talking behind employees’ backs has led to a culture of fear and distrust. The stress levels are insane—everyone is constantly on the defense. With agencies being brought in left and right, it’s obvious the goal is to replace as many full-time roles as they can while ignoring the support needed for the existing team. This only adds to the anxiety, as employees feel their jobs are at risk daily. With senior leaders leaving in droves, it’s clear that the issues run deep. Rumors circulate constantly, and no one feels safe expressing their thoughts or concerns. Instead of fostering a supportive workplace, leadership seems more interested in tearing down morale. Unilever: it’s time to reassess your leadership team at Onnit. The current environment is unsustainable, and it’s no wonder that talent is walking out the door. Until significant changes are made, I would advise potential employees to think twice before joining. The company is bleeding, and it’s not just from turnover—it’s from a culture that needs serious healing. Furthermore, Onnit is no longer the same place it once was, lacking the passion and vision that initially captivated customers. To all of us who are still fighting the good fight within this toxic environment, we are in this together and hopefully we have new opportunities on the horizon.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We know that a supportive and transparent environment is essential, and we’re sorry to hear you felt this was lacking. Leadership alignment and open communication are top priorities as we continue to strengthen our workplace culture. We want to assure our team and community that our intent in partnering with agencies is not to replace employees, but to enhance our in-house capabilities. Agencies bring specialized expertise that complements our team, offering opportunities for our employees to learn, collaborate, and elevate their own skills. We are committed to investing in our people through training and development, ensuring that our workforce is equipped to thrive alongside external partners. We value your feedback and will continue to focus on fostering growth and collaboration across our organization.
