Pros

Very strict environment , no job satisfaction, it felt like prison. All they care about is making money and employees are treated badly. You get fired for anything , if you are late , if you take a sick day off etc. The owner is very nasty and greedy person who has no clue how to run the business. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they lie to clients and candidates , they claim that they have an office in Germany which is not true.

Cons

None , I can't think of any really.

Pros

Some people are friendly, and the job itself is quite rewarding

Cons

The management are passive aggressive, people turn to alcohol as its that stressful, and I remember seeing girls walk out from time to time in tears.

Pros

Decent pay, office has nice view overlooking the Themse

Cons

Don't work here if you have any self respect. I was here 2.5 months and they lied about so many things in the interview. They say things like "We are very flexible with working hours, we don't care when you come and go as long as you do your work" and then a few weeks in you have conversations like "I know break is until 16:10 but you being at your desk at 16:12 is not acceptable" (no joke, I had 2 convos like this) Turnover of staff is insane and it's not because the work is so hard (which is what they will tell you) - it's because the company and culture is crap! The work is actually quite boring. They lure you in with promises to make you rich, which is not true. It turned out I was more of an assistant rather than a recruiter with an absolutely incapable manager. They would start meetings on Monday talking about the women they slept with on the weekend, which as a woman made me very uncomfortable. Pay was 11.5 pounds an hour and you get 200 pounds commission per deal (ca 3 per month is realistic). The CEOs are snakes. Nice to you directly but mean behind your back. Everyone working there has a huge ego and is extremely self-centered. Only stayed so long because I really needed the money. All the fluffing up aside, at the end of the day it's a job in a call center, no matter your position there. They operate in the German market for 15 YEARS and none of the authoritiy figures have bothered to learn even the tiniest of German. They do not respect the German culture and that's why there service is so low quality. I once had a call with a candidate and he said "you are so calm and pleasant to talk to, all the other people at Optimus always sound like cheap car salesmen" and I think that wraps it up perfectly.
