Pros

OPTM excel at presenting opportunities to their Team and have great experience in promoting from within. They offer guidance, support and true mentorship to ensure that their people succeed and I am extremely grateful for the path that they have developed for me personally over the last 10 years. Our office offers a vibrant, energetic working environment with a real passionate and ambitious Team of people. A really lovely place to go to work every day.

Cons

If only the office was closer to home. However, i've commuted for 9 years now so there must be something special about this company!

Pros

I've been in the industry for 15 years, and have spent the last 3.5 of those with Optm. The culture and team work ethic is strong and is one of my favourite things about working here. My colleagues are happy to help if I come across an issue or need advice, and I also go above and beyond to extend that same support to them. There are some great benefits here that you get at Optm that we all appreciate. I for one recommended two people for positions here, and was paid £1000 referral fee in my wage each time which was great. We have free tea and coffee - and the coffee is as good as any Costa or Starbucks. The offices are luxury, with breakout areas, a fully stocked bar, games consoles, conference rooms, auditorium, nice toilets, prayer room and much much more. Our consultants are great, very knowledgeable and good in front of customers. We have our own Microsoft Cloud Practice which is a nice thing to have, our customers benefit greatly as they are a FOC value add service for anyone with a Microsoft subscription. The leadership team are approachable, driven and all have the same mentality of wanting to succeed as a team. Mental Health support is important here, we have a fully qualified team of Mental Health First Aiders, propped up with a great employeem assistance program which gives you unlimited access to a Private GP, counselling, medical support and financial advice. Our industry accreditations and certifications also make us ideally placed for those already in the industry looking for a viable outfit with a good rep to join. Last thoughts on 'Pros' - you spend most of your life at work, so having good people around you is important. We have good people in abundance here, which helps massively especially if you are having a challenging day.

Cons

I'm nitpicking here. Cons for me would be the unpredictable commute on the motorway and heading through Bradford into Calverley, sometimes it can take 90 mins-2 hours. However, thats off-set by remote working. A lot of us work from home and meet once or twice a week in the office, so we are lucky in that respect. There are no EV charging points on the car park, with the cost of fuel being as it is, I think a lot of people are thinking about swapping for an electric car. It would be good to have some points so that staff can relax knowing that they wont run out of range, especially those that have a long distance commute.
