I worked at Opus Energy full-time

    Pros

Good pay for what the role actually was, my managers and colleagues were fantastic, there were lots of opportunities to progress within the company, and it was the only call centre that I've ever worked in where I felt genuinely valued and respected as an individual by all of the management, and wasn't just viewed as a number, or as a tool to keep their stats afloat. Vikki Sanger is also one of the best managers that you could ever ask for, and I've never had one since that could top her.

    Cons

The training wasn't amazing, but that's because my time were the first ones in to the Cardiff office, so we were basically the guinea pigs.

    Pros

Some lush people to work with – a few not so much but you get everywhere. Good pay and benefits for the area. Senior management no there stuff and are really approachable and prepared to listen. Some of the TLs and TSs need to listen more and lack experience Lots of chances to progress if u work hard I no people that have had personal stuff who have really been helped by managers

    Cons

Poor IT systems – needs investmnt. Systems crash alot Department is split across to sites which isn’t good. Don’t see people in other building. But we are moving to a bigger building soon. We lost people last year because of new dialler, but managers listen to staff and it got better
