    Pros

Good pay, great location for London office.

    Cons

Very process heavy. Silo mentality within study teams. Bureaucracy can stifle original thought and innovation study management and outcome delivery.

    Advice to Management

Be more outcome driven not just metrics and processes. Ensure staff are properly trained to conduct work by shadowing and mentoring. Do not expect people to follow SOPs only. Consider regionalised teams or therapeutic expertise for efficiencies.

I have been working at PAREXEL full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very interesting work which is truly global. Feel like I am part of a local and international team. Have colleagues I can trust. Great benefits with lots of choice, my annual pay increases have reflect the increase responsibilities of my role. Growing company with great future plans - so lots of opportunity

    Cons

Far too many projects ongoing at one time, lack of clear vision from management, long hours are not expected but are needed to do the job so you end up working very long hours.

    Advice to Management

do less but do it better. Get a tactical plan together - that way some of conflicting projects can be managed better

    Pros

PAREXEL is a fantastic company to work for. They treat employees very well and care about their career development and social care. Senior Management are fair and want staff to succeed in their roles.

Long term employees are promoted from within and this can take some time, but remain loyal and it pays off.

I worked at PAREXEL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No day is the same, lots of opportunity to learn, looks great on your CV as such a varied job role. The volunteers are lovely. Lots of opportunity for over time. The job will keep you fit (long hours on your feet - often for the whole shift which can vary from 7.5-15 hours).

    Cons

It's very difficult to get a promotion, long hours - shifts can be 8+ days in a row and the night shifts are not optional.

    Advice to Management

There is a bullying culture from some senior nurses/assistants to junior staff.

I worked at PAREXEL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very thorough training, constant work load and not a dull minute. You also have a fantastic team around you, you can rely on your peers and colleagues to help guide you and the new training regime is great.

    Cons

Sometimes more work then there is staff - when issues arise there isn't an option but to stay and "paid overtime" is a myth. This wouldn't normally be an issue but when the majority of the issues stems from internal technology and those who can support it are outsourced and finish hours before you this becomes an issue.

    Advice to Management

Management need to realise the potential in their staff - there are so many incredible people that aren't ngetting the recognition they deserve.
