Still some nice people there in the UK office. UK HR really do everything they can to try and help.
Cons
I worked for POWWR when it was still UD Group (UK), and I was there during the merger with POWWR from the US. Up until that point, it was genuinely one of the best places I had worked. The merger totally destroyed everything that was great about this place. Senior management were very quickly replaced by bullies who yelled at staff and threw people under the bus to look good or get their own way, consistent business focus became a thing of the past, information was never fully shared and job security was shattered. A number of people raised concerns regarding redundancies at the point of the merger, based on past bad experiences, and were effectively laughed at and told it wouldn't happen. Only a couple of months later, they made all junior devs, QA (except 3 in automation), and the UK Product team redundant. This then resulted in a near mass exodus of remaining staff, in part also to the changed working conditions. It was a depressing change to witness.
