I have been working at Papa John's as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Papa John's is a great company to build a career. I have only been here a year and feel like I am strongly encouraged to stay and work my way up within the company.

    Cons

Just like any job, there times of feeling overwhelmed. However, I feel like everyone here does a great job of helping encourage and offer help to others.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you do!

    I worked at Papa John's part-time

    Pros

Good for young energetic person that's in high school or maybe collage

    Cons

They have lost the milage income most people think that when the company charges $2.00 that is the tip for the driver so most do not tip 15% to 20% not good

    Advice to Management

They are there to manage but have no clue as to do so thus many human mistakes are made by management and employees

I have been working at Papa John's (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great Discount, fast paced, and flexible scheduling

    Cons

All weekends are holidays are work days with no holiday pay, salaried employees get no compensation for working more than the required hours and no sick days. bad insurance options but all cons are based on a franchise so it varies depending on owners

I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This is a company that focuses on making and delivering quality pizza -- every time, but that's not all. It also delivers a high quality, highly secure online ordering website. If you get the chance to work here, the experience will teach you things that you can take with you for a lifetime.

    Cons

I really don't have any down side. I guess there were times I worked some long hours, but often it didn't seem that long when it was happening.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, hiring great people and making great pizza. ...and never, never stop serving the pepperoncinis with your pizzas!

I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Core Values by the CEO were excellent. Benefits were OK at best. I enjoyed working with our customers (store managers)

    Cons

Unfortunately, middle and low-level management did not follow core values laid out by the CEO and upper-level management

    Advice to Management

I blew the whistle on a technology issue after being ignored for 6 months and was fired for inappropriate behavior

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, easy work. I was part time while in school and it was great for me. Delivering is fun because you get out of the store and listen to music all night in your car.

    Cons

Low pay for in store jobs. Inconsistent pay when delivering because it's based on tips. Every thing you wear to work, and your car, will smell like pizza.

    Pros

Papa John's was my first REAL job and when I first starting working as an in-store I loved it. Short shifts but still received plenty of hours. Lots of room to grow and be promoted. Working here will teach the value of hard work.

    Cons

Human resources nor management know how to handle conflicts among workers. Management tends to play favorites with hours.
