Ambitious strategy to become one of the leaders of Strategy Consulting in France

    Cons

  9. "Worth it"

    Pros

Exceptionally diverse industry exposure compared to peer firms. Truly wonderful people. Parthenon takes the "Nice" in "Smart. Nice. Driven." very seriously. The firm invests a lot in mentorship. You will feel challenged here.

    Cons

Brutal hours. Double staffing (two projects at a time) is the default. Unreasonable expectations, and having to compromise on work quality, both take a toll on morale. Little to no client exposure for most projects.

    Advice to Management

Sell only as much work as you can staff reasonably. As Parthenon scales, invest in full-time staff for recruiting, D&I, and other internal initiatives like our larger peer firms do.

I worked at Parthenon - EY (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Learning and professional development
    - Interesting work with great responsibility at early stage
    - Salary package
    - Excellent travel opportunities

    Cons

    - Work/life balance. None at all
    - Not the most supportive environment . Bias towards a very specific personality type
    - No clear set of responsibilities, which means work is just transferred downwards to the associate

    Advice to Management

    - Dictate a clear set of JDs and enforce it
    - Enforce work life balance by setting longer cases and sacrificing a bit of revenue to reduce attrition
    - Diversify the type of people recruited
    - Enforce a supportive environment for women to work in, and rules against sexist comments and behaviour
