    Pros

    Used to have amazing people.

    Cons

1.) Upper Management had no clue what they are doing, nor do they have a vision of being able to take the company to the next level. 2.) They treat people like disposable tools. 3.) No career progression plan 4.) All staff were consistently underpaid 5.) Upper management liked to pretend everything was okay and act like the ship wasn’t burning down until suddenly they disposed of half the company.

This isn't an Open Culture IT organisation anymore!

    Pros

    - Culture before new management - Good team to work with - Had a good vision for different products before new management

    Cons

I can list loads of cons which made me move on, - Confidential Discussions aren't confidential anymore, they use them as winning argument for not paying you the money you earned as a bonus in the past year - They use your passion to build their ideas without paying you much as you deserve - Everybody knows/feels there is something weird in company culture but no one wants to take a hit at management - Salary Inequality - management isn't easily approachable - Crazy long working hours - people get promoted with more responsibility without raise in salary

It used to be a great company before new management

    Pros

Peak used to be a fantastic company with such an amazing culture. The company cared about their employees and productivity was high! Overall it used to be a brilliant place to work in until new mangement took over at the beginning of the year.

    Cons

Too many cons: 1. Salary - A lot of stuff is underpaid and they know it. To some extent they are disrespectful in the way they promise raises and then can't keep those promises but of course expect the company to deliver. 2. Everyone is replaceable - they don't care whether you've been in the company since the start or how much work you have put it into any projects, they're keen on finding replacement asap rather than tackling the bigger issue in the company. 3. Dying culture and no HR - the great culture that made Peak unique is slowly dying. There's no HR from what it seems as there are no initiatives coming from them to get employees to engage socially, not only that, there's nothing being done to stop people from leaving the company. Also, when new information (policies) comes into the company, no one knows where to find such information. I was once told "not sure" by HR when asking about a new policy regarding GDPR. 4. Being open is frowned upon - You can't express yourself because if you do and management disagress then you'll find that your perks get taken away from you and you start seeing a very odd side to the company. Had tried speaking to management at some point but my message got ignored. 5. No autonomy -the company heavily depends on its shareholders to make any sort of decisions and it just no longer feels like a educational/gaming company. The shareholders are not experienced in digital gaming or mobile gaming yet they have a say in what the company does. Sadly, the gaming side to the company (which was core to the rise of Peak) is fading slowly. Overall, it is a shame that the company has turned out to be like this. Like I mentioned, it used to be one of the best employers and now it is completely the opposite. This is why a lot of people left including myself.

    Pros

Good benefits and well stocked kitchen. Friendly HR and people.

    Cons

Unless you don’t have any other job offer then only consider this place. The people’s team is nice and friendly but, the newly appointed leadership team only cares about the numbers. They used to have multiple products and it came across as a company which had a solid growth plan. Now, only one product is left and the shareholders just want milk as much money as they can out of it. It doesn’t matter if you were with the company since beginning and have seen and supported the company go through all the up and downs. They will fire anyone who they think doesn’t help with the profit margins. My advise will be don’t bother joining them and if you do have to join them, make sure you have 3-4 month savings already.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we appreciate and value all feedback and we’re happy to hear you valued our benefits and the HR team while working with us. It is true as a company we have been through a period of change recently and we’re sorry you have not had a good experience of that.

    It was good before

    Pros

    - It was all good a year back and now because of a few bad decisions, the company is losing its faith in employees

    Cons

    - The culture was always good but lately, the wrong hire on senior positions changed the core values - A lot of people are leaving - The hiring process is becoming subjective - A few people are using the position to influence the decisions - Politics, Politics, and Politics suddenly
