    Pros

Very few companies genuinely offer the opportunity to travel with work at a young age

A strong work ethic is required to succeed. If you want to do the minimum amount necessary to get by Phaidon is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

as you grow at +30% keep the culture a strong as you can

I worked at Phaidon International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good for young grads as there are many people on the same position you can relate to.

You can progress fast if you want to.

    Social company

    Cons

    Cut throat environment.

Very low basic salary compared to other companies in the sector. They're not also not very diligent at processing pay rises.

    Quantity over quality approach.

    Not collaborative

Very "laddy" culture, not particularly professional.

Very long hours. I often found myself regularly working 8am-8pm .

Their approach to hiring is to hire a big group of people with the expectation that over half will leave.

    Advice to Management

Maybe hire experienced managers rather than expecting anyone who's hit their principal target to take on responsibility they're not ready for.

I worked at Phaidon International full-time

    Pros

Still trying to find one out

    Cons

Currently working with some of the rudest people I have ever worked with in my entire career. Managers don't seem to realise that they are talking to fellow human beings. The way some managers talk to consultants is terrible, rude and snappy.. Never worked anywhere like that before. Complete disregard for feelings of others. And hurts my ears to hear them speak in this way... And get away with it! Extremely vulgar and unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

When you do your managers training it would be a great idea if you also included a couple of slides on how some managers should talk to their staff members and also to other colleagues. Caption should be: politeness - back to basics. Some people could seriously use this training.

    Pros

    Unbelievable earning potential.
    Clear progression and training structure.
    Clear company growth and opportunity.
    Ambitious, driven, culture

    Cons

Low base salary (but high comms).
Long hours- standard in the sector.
It's a young and diverse workforce with all the pros and cons that go with that.
If you're not a high achiever you can get left behind.

    Advice to Management

More support, training and guidance for new managers.

    Pros

-There is honestly so much money to be made!
-Great Buzz on the sales floor
-A number of great Team and company socials
-A lot of organic growth- The CEO, MDs, Directors, Managers- many of them started as a Junior
    - The company does not overlook good work, every week people are publicly praised for doing something good
-A lot of training on offer for all levels- Junior to Director

    Cons

The downside would be the work hours (8-6) but its worth it when all that commission is coming in.

I have been working at Phaidon International full-time

    Pros

Central location close to good transport links.

    Cons

This place is awful. Every part of the day which starts at 7:30 and ends at 6:30 is a load of crap. The commission is non existent and the trips to Vegas are for the top 10- 20 GLOBALLY, so forget about it mate! Most of the good reviews are fake, I mean what normal employee really talks about 'average industry hours' ? If you don't believe me, check out the google reviews and search these guys on Linked In .... they are all managers or HR! Terrible, heartless company who should cease to exist. I am looking for my escape route and if you have any sense ... don't apply here. Massive waste of time!
