I have been working at Phaidon International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training was great and the people in general were really nice.

    Cons

Hours are a joke. Expectation to do around 13 hours a day. My work life balance ceased to exsist for a woeful starting salary.

    Advice to Management

Change the base salary and be more flexible with the hours, maybe allow some home based days.

I have been working at Phaidon International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Culture, business model, opportunities, training and learning, personal earnings based on performance and success. Work with people with lots of character and high energy and standards. Such a great feeling when you place someone into a great job and literally change the candidates life, and fill the clients role and they thank you your work. You get immense real world business skills in every area you can imagine.

    Cons

Hours you put in will create a work-life imbalance. But building and starting a career and generating success needs this commitment initially, so be prepared to work hard to support your customers. Competition is fierce in this industry, be prepared to get very competitive. (hence the long hours required sometimes). Horrible feeling when you dont fill your clients vacancy after all that hard work. Its a steep learning curve and job can be repetitive work at times...

    Advice to Management

Better Coffee machines pls. Healthier vending machines. More consistent focus on happiness and well being given the hours spent in a chair at a desk....

I have been working at Phaidon International full-time

    Pros

    Great training provided
Training and HR staff are very helpful

    Cons

The management team look down on others. They are not helpful and come across very aggressive. The managers are not willing to help. If they do not like someone they point out every small mistake. You cant ask for help, but when you make a mistake you get told off. All managers are highly ignorant and make racial comments. The company does not have a good mixture of people.

    Advice to Management

Work on your people skills. Make your employees love the company rather than putting them off from what they do. Nobody would be good at what they do if they don't love it.
