    I have been working at Philip Morris International full-time

    Pros

    Very good compensation and benefits; appraisal structures; good opportunities for movement and development especially internationally if that's your thing. Lots of travel but excellent hotels etc when you do. Nice offices.

    Cons

    Moral dilemma of selling and marketing addictive products. Business transformation to "reduced risk products" can feel a bit desperate. New management has destroyed previously high morale. Successful employees will feel pressured to relocate internationally.

    Advice to Management

    Don't take your employees for granted. Address inefficient processes. Think through sales and marketing plans more carefully.

    Very face fits type of company can operate in grey areas a lot, management lack backbone would hang you out to dry

    Friendly employees and staff enriched by their outstanding culture and enhanced by their passion for every product and service that they produce in a fun and a competitive environment.

    The only con of working for such a firm is the impression that people get when we say we are working for a leading international Tobacco firm.

    flexible, there is nothing good I can say about it honestly and its totally based on my experience at PMI for 3 years.

    Cons

    poor management , micro management, no progression with loads of favouritism. works on the basis of who you know not on what you know.

    Advice to Management

    U.K affiliate is a total chaos, don't know what the management is doing. Incompetent Management.
    For heaven sake improve your company's culture.

    Great international career opportunities, some great colleagues and leaders, leading brands

    Cons

    Too slow & heavy. Top global leaders are disconnected from reality and did not prepare properly the after-tobacco world. Huge organization leading to an highly political environment

    Advice to Management

    Think and act faster. Some new blood coming from other industries is necessary to challenge the status quo
