- Overworks employees, you can keep work/life balance but you really have to be the one to set boundaries and not care that your job performance might suffer. Constantly saying that priorities and workload will be reassessed, but nothing ever changes - Leadership constantly asks for feedback, but little/no action comes from feedback - Lack of clear priorities. Every quarter leadership says things will be prioritized, but then every task is top priority - Sales is king. If you aren't on the sales team, what you contribute to the company is not valued or respected - Lack of career growth. If management likes you, you will mysteriously rise to the top with no communication or preparation to be there. If management doesn't like you your career will stall - Product is extremely buggy and unreliable, but any attempts to make bugs known are not taken seriously - Feels like lack of interest in retaining people. Management makes it clear that people are replaceable - Lots of bait and switch about titles, promotions, raises so you never really know what you are going to get as far as performance reviews and compensation goes - Recent layoffs disproportionately affected minority employees which feels very suspicious from a diversity & inclusion perspective
